Coroner’s Inquests 1819 cases

There were 20 cases in 1819, presented in five sub-pages.

This year marked a very dark moment in the Adlam/Adlem family, due to two inquests in the same year. The worst burning case in the entire collection at Winterbourne Stoke cost eight lives, including three Adlem family members, a later case featuring a surviving child Thomas Davis, and then later in the same year another, George Adlam, was run over by his own waggon.
