An Unfortunate Adventure

As a result, it is said, of injuries sustained through some horseplay on the part of a number of engine cleaners engaged on the South Western Railway, a young cleaner named House, was taken to the Infirmary early this week. Fortunately the injuries were found to be not so serious as was feared, and on enquiring at the Infirmary a Times representative was informed by one of the house surgeons that the patient will probably be well enough to be discharged tomorrow. It is reported that the railway authorities have promptly dealt with those concerned.
