Fricker, Jack            1888 September 8th            Devizes

Jack Fricker, who was for so many years huntsman to the Tedworth Pack, and for whom a subscription was being promoted to present him with a testimonial in recognition of his long and valuable services in that capacity, has committed suicide by strangling himself with a rope. Since his resignation he had been suffering from melancholy.

A verdict of “Temporary insanity” was returned at the inquest.
