Draper, William      1886 June 17th               Chippenham

An inquest was held at the Swan Inn, on the body of William George Draper, a little boy, who died after a brief illness. The inquest was held in consequence of its having been stated that the child died from the effects of a kick, which the mother swore she saw administered by a youth named Wells, some five weeks ago. A post mortem examination showed that the child died from inflammation of the lungs. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony.
