Few, Harriett

Few, Harriett           1884 August 23rd       Corton

Mr Coroner Sylvester held an inquest on Monday at this village relating to the death of Harriett Few, aged 62, wife of Mr Oliver Few, farmer, of Corton, who died very suddenly.

From the evidence of Amelia Few, daughter of the deceased, it appeared that her mother had been in delicate health for some time past, and on Thursday she was taken worse, and complained of spasms in her chest. On Saturday morning she appeared much better, but at seven o’clock the same evening she succumbed.

The jury, of which Mr Joseph Miles was foreman, returned a verdict of “Fatal Syncope.”
