Young, Charles          1877 November 3rd           Wilton

Another inquest was held on the following day at the Town Hall, Wilton, by Mr Wilson, jnr., Deputy Coroner, respecting the death of Mr Charles Young, of the Post Office. It appeared that Mr Young was, on Monday evening, acting in the place of Mr Pomroy at the Lodge gates, leading to Wilton House, in order that Mr Pomroy might attend the Rifle Volunteers annual dinner, when about ten o’clock, he was suddenly attacked in a fit. He fell to the ground, and broke a blood vessel in the region of the heart. A verdict of “Death from natural causes” was returned.
