Weeks, George

Weeks, George        1869 April 10th         Redlynch

An inquest was held by R M Wilson, Esq., on the body of George William Weeks, aged three months, son of Henry Weeks. The mother stated that the child was quite well up to Wednesday night at bedtime, when she observed it to be suffering from tightness of the chest and difficulty of breathing, and as it did not get better the next morning she sent for the doctor, who did not arrive until the child was dead. The opinion was that death resulted from convulsions, probably arising from congestion of the lungs. Verdict – “Died by Visitation of God.”
