Webb, Elizabeth

Webb, Elizabeth         1869 January 2nd          Boscombe

An inquest was held by Mr Wilson on Wednesday last, on the body of Elizabeth Webb, aged 40 years. It appeared that the deceased was the wife of Henry Webb, and lived in London, but went to Boscombe on a visit to her mother, who is ill and since dead. About half past ten o’clock the deceased fell down. She was raised and laid on a bed, but died almost directly. She never spoke after she fell. Mr Pyle of Amesbury was sent for, and judging from the appearance of the body, he was of opinion that death was attributable to apoplexy.
