An inquest was held by Mr R M Wilson, on the 7th inst., on the body of Uriah Hayter, aged 42. It appeared that deceased had been drinking on the previous day, and at eight o’clock in the evening, he was led home to his lodgings quite drunk, where he was laid on the floor and became very sick, and in a short time he died. Mr Nunn was sent for, and attended immediately. He attributed his death to apoplexy, accelerated by drinking, and a verdict to that effect was returned.
