An inquest was held by Mr R M Wilson, on Saturday last, at Redlynch, on the body of a child named Robert George Pearce, aged about 3 months, son of Mr G W H Pearce, schoolmaster of that place. The deceased had never been a healthy child, and was brought up by hand. On Wednesday evening about nine o’clock he was put to bed with his parents and on the father awaking he found him lying on his back quite dead. Mr Caesar, surgeon, of Downton, was of opinion that death resulted from convulsions, occasioned by acute bronchitis. Verdict – accordingly.
