Marshall, Josiah          1868 April 25th         Winterbourne Earls

An inquest was held by Mr Wilson, at Winterbourne Earls, on the 21st inst., on the body of Josiah Marshall, aged 65 years, a shoemaker, of this place. The deceased was in his usual state of health on Monday, and went to bed about nine o’clock. On his wife going upstairs about half an hour afterwards he complained to her of a pain in his heart, and got out of bed and said he could not lie down again. He died about eleven o’clock, Mr Swabey, surgeon, attributed death to cerebral apoplexy. Verdict accordingly.
